This policy explains what data we collect on fminter.net, why, how long we keep it and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679) and the amended French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978. This English version is provided for convenience; in case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.

3. Recipients

Your data is only accessible to authorised staff of FM INTERACTIVE. It may be shared with:

  • our host, DigitalOcean, LLC, whose servers used for this site are located in Frankfurt (Germany), in the European Union;
  • our transactional email provider (account confirmation, notifications);
  • Google, only if you choose "Continue with Google": Google then acts as a separate controller for your Google account;
  • clients, limited to the information needed to carry out an intervention assigned to you (name, company, business contact details).

Your data is never sold or rented.

4. Transfers outside the European Union

Data is hosted in the European Union. As DigitalOcean, LLC is a US company, access from the United States cannot be entirely ruled out (maintenance, support). Any such transfer is governed by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission, included in the host's data processing agreement. The same applies to Google if you use Google sign-in.

5. Company verification

When you search for your company, the number or name you enter is sent to the public "Recherche d'entreprises" API operated by DINUM (French State). Only public company data is returned and saved in your file.

6. Cookies

The site only uses strictly necessary cookies, which are exempt from consent (Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act):

  • fmsid: session cookie (login, form security), deleted when you close your browser;
  • fm_lang: remembers your chosen language, 12 months.

No analytics, advertising or social media cookies are set. Fonts and libraries are served from our own servers, so your browsing is not shared with third parties.

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), irreversibly hashed passwords, documents stored outside the public web space and only accessible to the account holder and authorised administrators, limits on login attempts, and protection of forms against request forgery.

8. Artificial intelligence

The AI-assisted CRM module presented on the site is still in development. No data is currently processed by an AI system, and no decision producing legal effects concerning you is based solely on automated processing. This policy will be updated before the module goes live.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability, to object and, where processing is based on your consent, to withdraw it at any time. You may also give instructions on what happens to your data after your death.

To exercise your rights, write to contact@fminter.net or to FM INTERACTIVE, 20 Rue Pablo Neruda, 59290 Wasquehal, France. We reply within one month. We may ask for proof of identity if we have reasonable doubts.

10. Complaints

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France — www.cnil.fr). Residents of Belgium can contact the Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be) and residents of Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (edoeb.admin.ch), the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) applying to them.

11. Changes

This policy may change, in particular when new features are added. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
